San Diego Massage

My name is Chelsea Cartlidge. I was born and raised in Eugene, Oregon, where I spent 18 cold, gray winters. After enduring the gloom, (ok so there ARE gorgeous mountains, trees, and beautiful summers, but that's beside the point) I moved to San Diego to go to the University of San Diego. I graduated August, 2005 with a degree in Spanish, and minor in Psychology.

Growing up, I wanted to be a veterinarian, a lawyer, a famous writer, a singer/ guitarist/pianist/songwriter, a clothes designer, massage therapist, nutritional counselor, physical trainer, psychologist,and an architect. After studying the French language for 9 years, I naturally pursued a major in Spanish.

Graduation came and with all my possible choices I was overwhelmed. I thought, "well, if I'm going to pursue massage therapy and nutrition, now is the time." I started classes at the School of Healing Arts and fell in love with the idea of Holistic Health. Now I am a Licensed Massage Technician, and have taken classes such as Anatomy and Physiology, Kinesiology, CPR, First Aid, Aromatherapy, Pregnancy Massage, Pathology, Comparative Nutrition, Body Reading, and more at the School of Healing Arts in San Diego.

I feel extremely blessed to be pursuing something that I love and that I know will greatly benefit others.
